Custom Domain Email

You can point your custom domain names to the YMOZ mail server to have personalized email addresses on your domain name. Once you have followed these steps to configure your domain, you can verify your domain within the control panel.

MX record

  • These are required for sending and receiving email on your domain.

    Prefix Host Priority TTL
    @ mail.ymoz.com 10 3600

SPF Record

  • This TXT is required for sending to email hosts with stricter sending requirements.

    v=spf1 include:spf.ymoz.com ip4:5.1.76.81 ~all

Autodiscover CNAME records

  • These are required Exchange ActiveSync and help make setting up email clients easier.

    Type Prefix Host TTL
    CNAME autodiscover mail.ymoz.com 3600
    CNAME autoconfig mail.ymoz.com 3600

Autodiscover SRV record

  • These are required for sending and receiving email on your domain.

    Type Prefix Host Port TTL
    SRV _autodiscover._tcp mail.ymoz.com 443 3600

Modifying your DNS records

After making these changes, it may take up to 24 hours for the DNS to fully propagate and send emails through your domain.
